*The Purpose of a Covering! Part I

•"O God the Lord, the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle" ~Psalms 140:7. •"And every open vessel, which hath no covering bound upon it, is unclean" ~Numbers 19:15.

•The goodness of God leads individuals to repentance.

•His goodness makes us change our minds.

•Some are under the power of common grace and some are under special grace.

•Isaiah 49:1

•Before I formed thee physically I knew you spiritually.

•Your purpose is what I formed before thee.

•Your purpose is that thing that is always in the face of God.

•Our face lies in the heart of God.

•You have to shake some things off, like worrying about people who stabbed you in the back.

•Some people lost the battle because their head wasn't covered.

•There are some privates who need to be covered by some generals.

•We have to lead some people from common grace to special grace.

•Special grace is higher than common grace.

•This comes from alliance or proper covering.

¥God is covering you, sending you some generals to cover you.

•How many of you do not have a proper head covering? You have the power to build but do not have the right covering.

•God is sending you someone to act on your behalf, they are going to cover you.

 •Everyone who is sent is not qualified.

•We have to make note of ones who have crept in.

•Some people were anointed to be controlled.

•Some can't tell the difference of the Davids and the Goliaths 

•You want to be led not be controlled. If you operate a different way then you are considered to be a renegade!

•Love is patient

•Anybody that is sent to lead must first demonstrate love.

•Your faith and patience has to work together, there must be intimacy.

¥Don't be quick to move in a haste.

¥Everything that doesn't feel good is not wrong.

•A lot of times covering is not comfortable, it sometimes causes humility.

¥Acts 20
