Dear 2020, Today is the last day before we part ways. Thank you! Thank you for everything that this chapter has taught me. Thank you for the life lessons! Thank YOU Lord that I made it through. As the world has unexpectedly been placed on pause life still carries on. A different pace under God’s grace. A lot has occurred this year and many are ready for this year to be over. Regardless of the year and circumstances...God is still in control. Beloveds, run your race! Run your race with your head held high. It is not how you start or how you finish...it is how to choose to accept the outcome! Let’s go!

Just as we have experienced a different type of year...be prepared to welcome a unique Christmas as well. Many will not be able to travel. Many people will not be able to get together (physically). Many will not be able to afford gifts. Many may not receive gifts. Many people are just not feeling the holiday spirit. Beloveds, it is okay. Everyday is Christmas. You must still give thanks to the Creator. You must still give thanks to the Perfect Gift-Giver. You must still give thanks to the Life-Changer. Give thanks to God! Be grateful for the things that you already have. Family. Friends. Loved ones. Life. Give thanks for life...one of best gifts to have! Welcome this unique CHRISTmas with open arms because Jesus is the reason for the season!

Real talk. If Jesus returned today...would you be ready? Would you be caught with your pants down (not literally 🤪)? On a serious note, none of us are perfect. We all have our private struggles but it is time to get it together. No more excuses. Daily we must TRY to live a life that is pleasing to God. Walk in love. Be kind to one another. Be true to yourself. I do not know about you but I am grateful for this year. The good. The bad. The ugly. This year has shown us that anything can happen in a blink of an eye. We have no control of what is to come. One thing we do have control over is how we choose to live our lives...despite any situation. Beloveds, Stay ready! This post may not receive many likes. Choose to be creative. Choose to be kind. Choose to be helpful. Choose to be giving. Choose to love! Choose to be the light of this world. Illuminate.
