God always finds a way to speak to us but many do not take the time to listen. Some choose not to and others are just too busy. God desires to speak to us. He desires to be silent in you. Ask Him to burn up anything that is fighting against His will in you. Friends, it is time to yield to the voice of God.

The Beauty of a Mother! Today as we celebrate Mother's Day we celebrate women who have bore a child(ren), bearing a child(ren), grandmothers, stepmothers...all women who God has set in place to be a blessing to someone as a "mother figure". We celebrate the strength of a woman...a "woman figure" and all the daily sacrifices that she makes to ensure that her family's needs are met and their security. We celebrate the love of a woman...the love of a "mother figure"! We celebrate God's love for women...a "mother figure" to be who He created her to be. Today is also a challenging time to many who have been displaced from a mother, daughter, grandmother, wife, or a "special woman"...but through this trying time just know that you have not been displaced by God. I pray that grieving does not grip your day and the strength of God be your joy. We honor all mothers today...Happy Mother's Day! I also want to give a shot out to all the men who are playing "both roles"...may you continue to be encouraged and may this day be a blessing to you as well.

Who is your God? What are you putting before God? Who are you putting before God? We are now living in a time where individuals are suffering from narcissism. We are living in a time where individuals are more dependent on others verses leaning on God. Stop allowing people, places, and things to distract you from establishing a closer relationship with God...but foremost preventing you from being in an effective relationship with Him. Friends, your relationship with God should be personal. Put God first and what is to be will be!
