The Danger of the Hocus Pocus Season

We had some church on today! I want to thank my pastor, Bishop Michael D. Hannah, Sr. for a mighty word, on Communion Sunday! I just realized that we are half way through the year, today is the first day of the sixth month and we are in the sixth month of this year already. With that being said, today was definitely an amazing and empowering service to remember! We were truly blessed and had a high time in the Lord at our ‘All White Holy Ghost Party!

Today’s Sermon, “The Danger of the Hocus Pocus Season!” ~Matthew 7:21-23.

Key Notes:

•Some people just wake up and call themselves a bishop without any credentials

•We are a society looking for superheroes but there is only on Superman and His name is Jesus!

•When you got Jesus you don’t need nobody else!

•It don’t matter if someone can preach or sing, if they don’t have Jesus they sound like an empty glass

•It’s not what you do, it’s about what you believe

•There is confusion in the church because people are operating in the hocus pocus season

•Hocus pocus and abracadabra are magical words

•‘Magi’ believes in astrology

•'Astra’ means stars and logos

•You don’t need to look to the stars, look to the Creator who created the stars

•For the Bible says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…”

•Abracadabra means father, son, and holy spirit

•Hocus pocus means this is my body

•The season of hocus pocus is over!

•My salvation comes through the blood of Christ

•If you turn to the back of the Book (The Bible) we win!

Friends, my bishop always says, “death and life is in the power of the tongue.” That is why we should not be saying certain things when we don’t know the true meaning!  After church I went online to read up on the interesting information that we received today. All I have to say is WOW! Bonus...the source of abracadabra is from three Hebrew words, ab (father), ben (son), and ruach acadosch (holy spirit). If you didn’t know, now you know! The only magical words that individuals should be saying is, “In Jesus Name” and “In the blood of Jesus!”  #YouJustGotServed  #LeaveThoseMeaninglessWordsAlone *StudyToShowThySelfApproved
