Greetings in the Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Believe it or not, it’s been 5 years! We are excited to celebrate our fifth anniversary since relocating to our current church home. Our new location is especially precious, as it is on the historic register and has been in existence for over 100 years. Formerly known as Holy Name of Jesus Parish, this edifice has served thousands of parishioners in our community. Everyone is invited, especially all former members of Holy Name Parish. The following activities are free and open to the public: Friday, May 16th Kicking off our celebration weekend, we will have a gospel concert featuring Sheila Raye Charles and other artists. Sheila Raye Charles delivers a heart-wrenching story of abuse, crack cocaine and prison through her music and story of her personal journey to salvation. You will be touched and inspired by this daughter of a music legend, as she shares her walk from despair and darkness into the love and forgiveness of the Lord. Saturday, May 17th - Luncheon
This weekend will also kick-off our Capital Campaign to raise $200,000 towards the repair of our roof and external areas of our building. Because the church has been in existence for over 100 years, the roof and other exterior repairs are extensive. This beautiful church is a landmark and we desire to preserve its historic look and keep this house of God in appropriate order. Please make donations payable to: Belmont A.M.E. Zion Church, 55 Illinois Street, Worcester, MA 01610. Come out and help support this church! Come out and celebrate what God is doing in this ministry and celebrate what He is doing in the lives of His people. Tell a friend to tell a friend! His Blessings, ~Spiritually Fabulous
